With the STEM-Award IT 2018, ZF and audimax were looking for outstanding bachelor and master theses on the topic of autonomous driving. Specifically, with the slogan "On The Road to Vision Zero", any bachelor or master thesis contributing towards zero accidents and emissions could be submitted.
The award required to submit a 3-page abstract of the thesis:

The award ceremony was part of ZF's student event Entdecke ZF where ZF offered tech talks and many exhibitions — covering the latest trends around autonomous driving.
