S. B. Lippman, J. Lajoie, B. E. Moo. C++ Primer (4th Edition). Addison-Wesley Professional, 2005.
C++

Although the 4th edition is from 2005 (note that the 5th edition is available since 2012), it provides an excellent reference for many basic and advanced techniques in C++ programming. While not being the ideal textbook for beginners, it is a must-have for every-day use. In particular, many subtleties of the C++ programming language are explained in details using many easy-to-use examples.
